When sending a check link to your customer, you might don't want to see the Flixcheck domain that your customer has to click on. To use your own domain, there are two ways:

Use our domain alias service

We'll take care of everything. All you have to do is to set up your desired subdomain, like service.mycompany.com, and add a CNAME record with the following target:

custom-domain.flixcheck.com.

That's all! Enter the domain in your Flixcheck settings page and we will automatically request an SSL certificate and use it to encrypt the communication with your customer.

Warning: Please do no change the DNS record before removing your domain from the settings.

Code the redirection yourself

If you don't want to use our service, create your own redirection. Note that in this case, only the link in the SMS and email will be replaced by your domain. When interacting with the check answer page, the customer will see the Flixcheck domain.

Create a redirection from your own domain and path where the individual check code will be prependen, e.g. https://www.mycompany.com/service/form/check?code=. We will then add the code. You have to forward requests to https://api.flixcheck.com/a/ with, again, the code added at the end.

Domain already taken?

If you see the warning that the domain is already taken, another account claimed the domain and has successfully confirmed the DNS record. If this wasn’t you, please contact our support.

If it was someone else in your corporation having another Flixcheck Team, please contact your Key Account Manager. We will then whitelist your team to also be allowed to claim this domain.
